Dear friends and neighbors,
As your U.S. Senator, Ohio’s interests drive my work from start to finish. I’m always working toward supporting policies that will lead to more jobs, lower taxes, higher wages, and freedom and prosperity for Ohioans. Know that customer service continues to be my commitment to you.
I recently delivered a speech on the Senate floor about how our new budget law is uniquely designed to support Ohio workers and families.
I’ve been busy writing and helping pass legislation that makes life easier and more affordable for Ohioans. I hosted a telephone town hall to hear directly from workers and families in eastern Ohio about the challenges they face.

During my most recent telephone town hall, more than 16,000 Ohioans from the eastern part of our state joined me to talk about the issues that matter most to them.
Hearing from you
During the call, Ohioans and I discussed a wide variety of issues, including Americanenergy production, tackling the national debt, making everyday life more affordable, and how my team is here to serve. I’m grateful to everyone who took the time to listen and share their thoughts and experiences.
This time, I spoke with more than 16,000 Ohioans in eastern Ohio about their priorities and concerns.
On the call, I asked listeners questions to see where they stand on issues before Congress right now, and here are the results:
During telephone town halls, it’s important to me that we discuss issues that matter to you. That’s why I ask for feedback during and at the end of every telephone town hall.
Understanding your priorities is the best way for me to represent Ohioans effectively in the Senate, so please keep in touch. Here’s how:
