Dear friends and neighbors,
Since I became your U.S. Senator for Ohio, I’ve hit the ground running to make Ohioans safer and more prosperous.
On the home front, I’ve prioritized spending time with Ohioans, whether I’m advocating for their priorities in Washington or back home in the state. I’ve shared a behind-the-scenes look at my first few months in the Senate with you here.

I'm grateful for my conversations and connections with Ohioans during Husted Huddles. Check out a video of our recent event here.
On the ground in Ohio
Since taking my oath of office in January, I’ve personally had more than 170 meetings with Ohioans and Ohio job creators. We also continue to host Husted Huddles, where I can have conversations with Ohioans and learn new ways to serve our state. During our last state work period, I covered more than 1,500 miles of Ohio roads visiting public safety leaders, teachers, businesses, and non-profits serving Ohio.

Hope’s Closet provides support for Ohio foster children and parents in Butler County and across the state.
My team is happy to continue serving Ohioans in every corner of our state, whether they need help navigating a federal agency or are applying to a service academy. Because customer service is my overarching priority, I’ve established four offices across Ohio to build on our work for our nearly 11.9 million neighbors.

Visiting Washington, DC?
My team is here to support Ohioans planning a trip to our nation’s capital. You can visit my website to learn more and request a Capitol or White House tour.
On a related note, the Department of Homeland Security has issued new security protocols for White House tours. Effective May 7, 2025, all participants aged 18 and older will be required to present a REAL ID or a valid passport.
Tour participants under the age of 18 will not be required to present an ID or passport. The White House has announced that individuals who do not present a REAL ID or passport on the day of their scheduled tour will be denied entry.
Please reach out to my office if we can help you schedule tours for your next trip to Washington, DC.
Need a hand navigating a federal agency?
My staff has dedicated their time to helping Ohioans navigate challenges with federal agencies, and I’ve personally called the administration to go to bat for Ohioans who needed immediate assistance.
If you or a family member need assistance with a federal agency, please don’t hesitate to reach out by calling one of my state offices or filling out a form on my website here.
Prioritizing policies that matter to you
On the policy front, I’ve voted to stop the flow of deadly fentanyl, supported a bill to protect the sanctity of your vote, and introduced legislation to use AI to cut regulations that make your life harder and more expensive. We’re also making progress on extending tax cuts to prevent a $4 trillion tax hike on Ohioans and other Americans.
My approach to serving as a U.S. Senator for Ohio isn’t that I think I’m always right—it’s that I value hearing from people directly so that we can get solutions right on the issues that affect our state.
When I learn from Ohioans on the ground, I don’t keep that wisdom a secret. I regularly share those insights with my colleagues in Congress, with this administration, and with the White House directly.
I’m also sharing the work I’m doing with and for Ohioans publicly, on a variety of platforms—because Ohioans deserve to know how their senator is spending his time on their behalves.
