WASHINGTON – Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio) today attended a dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base to honor the six crew members who lost their lives in the KC-135 crash in Iraq on March 12, 2026.
Three of the fallen served in the Ohio Air National Guard’s 121st Air Refueling Wing: Capt. Seth Koval, Capt. Curtis Angst, and Master Sgt. Tyler Simmons.
Husted joined President Donald Trump, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, First Lady of Ohio Fran DeWine and other Members of Congress to honor these heroes.
