As your U.S. Senator, I’m prioritizing making Ohio communities safer for you, your family, and neighbors.
 
I worked with Senate Republicans to pass a strong budget law that strengthens the administration’s southern and northern border security efforts and gets criminals out of Ohio neighborhoods.

Our budget law makes Ohio communities safer by funding border security measures at our borders, including Lake Erie. These measures will help identify and remove individuals in Ohio illegally who have committed crimes. This would send people like Laken Riley’s killer home before they could victimize Americans.
 
The budget law also modernizes and overhauls the U.S. air traffic control system, making America’s skies safer.  

I’ll keep fighting to enforce our laws on the books and secure the border. That’s the common-sense way to keep criminals off our soil and out of our communities.
