Dear friends and neighbors,
Ohio has produced some of the greatest innovators throughout history. Even today, Ohioans make the things the world needs—from the cars we drive, to the planes we fly, to food we need, and much more.
As companies have fled the East and West Coasts in recent years and settled in Ohio, our state is finally getting the attention it deserves. In fact, CNBC just rated Ohio the best state to do business! All of this means more opportunity and prosperity for working Ohio families.
I recently visited several businesses and innovation centers across our state to see how these efforts are creating opportunities for the next generation.

Ohio is leading the way
At the Youngstown Business Incubator, I saw how educators, entrepreneurs, and employers are preparing students for careers in welding, additive manufacturing, nursing, automotive technology, and other high-demand fields. Just steps away, the Youngstown Innovation Hub continues the work we began during my time as lieutenant governor by helping entrepreneurs turn new ideas into growing businesses and good-paying jobs.
The Working Families Tax Cuts Act is helping build on that momentum by giving families tax relief and giving employers the confidence to invest, expand, and hire.
I also visited Team Wendy in Cleveland, where Ohio workers manufacture helmets that protect America’s military. The company moved operations from California to Ohio, a reminder that businesses are choosing our state because of our skilled workforce, strong communities, and competitive business climate.
These stories demonstrate what’s happening across our state. Businesses are investing in Ohio, students are preparing for rewarding careers, and communities are growing because we’re creating an environment where opportunity can thrive.
At Team Wendy, they’re building the helmets that keep the brave men and women of our military safe.
Ohio has everything it takes to lead the future of American manufacturing, technology, and workforce development. By investing in our people, supporting innovation, and creating opportunities for businesses to grow, we can continue making Ohio the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
